The SPM edge banding machine itself, has newly developed pitch gathering screws that make it extremely versatile on a wide range of media types and thicknesses. The machine provides an operator friendly PC based controls system for ease-of-use while being able to achieve a high-speed production output. Using top-of-the-line parts, components, and hotmelt system, makes the SPM most reliable and now backed by PSE’s well known customer service and proven technical support.

The SPM Edge Banding Machine Overview:

• Two-sided or four-sided edge band capabilities
• Optional high-speed blade pleater or rotary pleater from PSE
• High quality hotmelt system with easy automatic adjustments
• Fully automatic servo driven cross cutter in tune via savable job program
• PC based controls with remote technical support access

The machines operational features are designed quick and easy: from the PC operator panel, you can load or create savable job files within the program making change overs quick and easy! Additional fine-tuning adjustments are designed simple and accessible for operator use via graduated control handwheels for positioning the width and height of the filter.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

• Media thickness: Up to 1.2mm activated carbon filter media.
• Filter width: 80mm to 400 mm.
• Pleat height: 15mm to 60 mm (different dimensions can be required).
• Side band: th. from 0.5 to 1.2, heights from 15 to 75 mm placed on 2 reels d.800.
• Cutting blade: circular, double-beveled, activated in both transversal strokes.
