We’ll See you at The WFC
The American Filtration and Separations Society will host the 13th World Filtration Congress (WFC 13), April 20 – 24, 2020 at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in San Diego, California, USA. We cordially invite you to participate in the congress, which is held once every 4 years rotating among member countries of INDEFI (International Delegation on Filtration), Austria, Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Japan, Nordics, UK, and the USA. WFC13 will have both an exhibition and technical program on Filtration and Separation (F&S). The purpose of WFC 13 is to foster a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners in the world working on F&S to meet and share the latest advances and technologies.
The activities of WFC 13 will span a full week. The week will begin with a selection of short courses conducted on a variety of F&S topics. Short courses are either 4 or 8 hours and instructed by leading experts in the field. The following 3-1/2 day technical program will consist of over 300 orals presentations, a wide selection of posters, numerous invited speeches, keynotes, and plenary sessions devoted equally to solid-liquid, solid-gas, and membrane separations, respectively. The Exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to showcase state-of-the-art technology in F&S. The afternoon of the last day will be reserved for a visit to the Carlsbad Desalination Plant and the filtration plant in Sea World, San Diego. There will be plenty of occasions to network and meet with experts and people around the world working on F&S. Do not miss this important event which is held once every four years!
